Ryan is a licensed professional counselor, and provisionally certified consultant for the applied association of sport psychology. He works with adolescents, teens, young adults, and athletes and non-athletes. He utilizes psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as acceptance and commitment based therapy during his sessions.
Ryan completed his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a double major in Health Sciences: Pre-Physical Therapy and Psychology. Ryan completed his Master’s degree in the Art of Counseling with a Specialization in Sport and Health Psychology from Adler University (a.k.a. Adler School of Professional Psychology). Since completing his Master’s degree he works as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Illinois. Ryan is currently working towards receiving full certification as a consultant for the applied association of sport psychology, and becoming a licensed clinical professional counselor. In addition to working in a private practice, Ryan also teaches as an adjunct faculty member for Long Island University-Brooklyn, and Adler University. Ryan currently resides in the greater Chicagoland Area.
